The relief I feel after a semester is over and I know I have three months of relative freedom is AMAZING.
It is the feeling of having nothing to do, budgeting my time is not needed.
It is the feeling that I can go to the beach any day of the week, every day if I really want to.
It means I get to visit with the friends I hardly get to see.
It means weekend trips to San Fransisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or even Mexico (after I get a passport).
So I've had a hectic couple of months. A couple of boys I went on dates with have come and gone. If it doesn't work out, I've come to realize then it probably wasn't right in the first place. There are so many other potentials out there. And among them there is one that things will work out with. We will know how to compromise with each other and agree on important issues. But for now, I have an amazing group of friends who are supportive and kind. Even if they offend me by saying I'm like the girl from "He's just not that into you." Maybe in some ways I am too eager.
But if you never try then you never know.
I've also come to realize that there are so many times in my life that I plan things and think they are going to be awesome and they're not.
On the contrary, sometimes I think a day is going to be boring and it turns out to be amazing.
Kind of like today. Who knew a trip to World Market, PetSmart, and Del Taco could make a great day. :)
